Ford Foundation Predoctoral Fellowship Competition in USA



Approximately 60 Ford Foundation Predoctoral Fellowships are available for graduate study leading to a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Doctor of Science (Sc.D.) degree. The fellowship provides three years of support.

Fellowships are tenable at any fully accredited, non-proprietary (not for profit) U.S. institution of higher education offering a Ph.D. or Sc.D. degree in the eligible fields of study. All arrangements for acceptance into a doctoral program at the chosen institution are the responsibility of the applicant. An applicant need not be accepted by the chosen institution at the time of application.

Progressive, parent-run cooperative preschool seeks a Lead Teacher for the 2016-2017 school year. West Philadelphia Cooperative School (WPCS) is a mixed-age preschool where children ages 2-6 engage daily in play-based, experiential learning.

The Lead Teacher will collaborate with another Lead and an Assistant Teacher to create opportunities for child-focused, child-led discoveries that support social-emotional, physical, and cognitive development via emergent curriculum.
