Description
Gather requirements from business partners. Engage in the creation of functional and technical design requirements, development and implementation of new strategies and enhancements in credit decisioning systems. Partner with business and technology to plan, refine, and consult project requirements. Perform coding, unit and/or system testing, and documents changes independently. Requires troubleshooting and correction of production issues. Mentor other developers technically through training process. Display organizational skills and the ability to communicate to all project teams.

Responsibilities:

- Support projects that enable credit decisioining for Credit Cards in credit bureau attribute management, account acquisitions or account management platforms. Design and code programs; create test transactions and execute tests for quality assurance. Document all work for audit purpose that includes writing and revising Standard Operating Procedures.

- Review existing platforms to improve capacity and efficiency. Create Functional and Technical design documents.

- Proficient in creating new programs of moderate and scope, working with basic applications, systems designs, and specifications and utilizing standard procedures and techniques.

- Guide junior team members on best practices. Independently manage timelines and deliverables for projects. Participates in post-implementation reviews.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree

- 1 year of experience in Application development


Preferred Qualifications:

- Masters in Business Information Systems or Computer Science or Engineering

- VBA, Java, SAS, C++, SQL, JCL, Mainframe, MS Office, Project Management

- Two years of related work experience in one or more of the following;

o Development in a Decision Engine (e.g. Strategy Manager, TRIAD, Blaze Advisor, Probe)

o Project Management

o Software Development Life Cycle

o Relationship Management

o Online Credit Bureau Management

o Credit Underwriting

o Account Acquisitions and/or Account Management
