The ROV Scholarship fund is providing students
scholarships for graduates, undergraduates and high school seniors in
the USA. Scholarships are provided in the field of marine/ocean sciences
or engineering, or a closely related field with an emphasis on ROV technology
and ROV technology offered. There are currently
two scholarship categories: MTS MATE ROV Scholarship and the MTS ROV Scholarship. Application should be
submitted till April 14, 2014.
Study Subject (s): Scholarships are provided in the field of marine/ocean sciences or

Eligibility:
-MTS MATE ROV Scholarship: These scholarships are open to all graduate, undergraduate and high school seniors who intend to pursue a college curriculum directed toward a career in marine/ocean sciences or engineering, or a closely related field with an emphasis on ROV technology. Applicant must also have either attended a MATE Partner Institution or have participated in the MATE ROV Competition.
-The MTS ROV Scholarship award is open to all graduate, undergraduate and high school seniors who intend to pursue a college curriculum directed toward a career in marine/ocean sciences or engineering, or a closely related field with an emphasis on ROV technology.
-MTS MATE ROV Scholarship: These scholarships are open to all graduate, undergraduate and high school seniors who intend to pursue a college curriculum directed toward a career in marine/ocean sciences or engineering, or a closely related field with an emphasis on ROV technology. Scholarship Open for International Students: The students of the USA can apply for this scholarship.
Scholarship Description: The ROV Scholarship fund, established in 1994 by Drew Michel, makes
grants annually to MTS student members interested in ROVs or work that supports
the use of ROVs. Since that date, over $340,000 has been awarded to deserving
MTS student members. Current scholarships range from $2,000 to $10,000.
Number of award (s): Eight scholarships are offered (four MTS MATE ROV Scholarship and four MTS ROV Scholarship).
What does it cover? Currently scholarships will provide range from $2,000 to
$10,000. (2 at $8,000, 2 at $6,000, 2 at $4,000 and 2 at $2,000).
