IABA Foundation offers scholarships for Iranian-American
students. Students must be enrolled in or accepted for enrollment in an ABA
accredited law school and be in a position to accept the scholarships in the
school year for which it is being awarded. One or more scholarships
are awarded based on merit, financial need is a consideration in making
award decisions. Application should be submitted till March 31, 2014.
Study Subject(s): Scholarships are provided in the field of law in an ABA accredited
law school.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for those students who are enrolled in or accepted for enrollment in an ABA accredited law school degree level.

Eligibility: Be of

-Notbe receiving full funding for education from another organization (e.g. members of the Armed Services attending US Military Academies, students receiving full reimbursement from an employer).

Scholarship Open for International Students: The Iranian-American students can apply for these scholarships.
Scholarship Description: IABA grants one or more scholarships each year to law students who
have demonstrated a commitment to the advancement of the Iranian-American
community. Applicants must be of Iranian heritage and full-time students at an
accredited law school (applications from UCI School of Law will be accepted) in
the United States who are not otherwise receiving full educational funding from
another organization.
Number of award(s): One or more scholarships are available for each year to law
students.
Selection Criteria: Most IABA Scholarships are awarded based on merit, financial need
is a consideration in making award decisions.
How to Apply: If you
would like to apply for the IABA Scholarship, please submit the following
materials to scholarship-at-iabafoundation.org by the application
deadline: (1) a resume detailing your education and work and community
experience; (2) official law school and college transcripts; (3) a brief
statement articulating why you chose to attend law school, why you would like
to become an attorney, and how you believe you will make a difference as an
attorney on issues of concern and interest to the Iranian-American community;
and (4) application.
Scholarship Application Deadline: The application deadline is March 31, 2014.
