UAA Janice K. Barden Aviation Scholarships for Undergraduate Students in USA

NBAA is offering Aviation scholarships for pursuing a undergraduate degree. Awards will be made to US citizens without regard to sex, race, religion or national origin. NBAA annually awards $1,000 to each of five undergraduates studying aviation-related curricula at NBAA and University Aviation Association (UAA) member institutions. The application deadline is 1 November 2013.

Eligibility: Awards will be made to U.S. citizens without regard to sex, race, religion or national origin. Scholarships will be awarded by spring 2014, and checks will be made payable to the school. Scholarship recipients must use the funds by Dec. 31, 2014, or risk forfeit of the award.

Scholarship Description:  Through the UAA Janice K. Barden Aviation Scholarship, NBAA annually awards $1,000 to each of five undergraduates studying aviation-related curricula at NBAA and University Aviation Association (UAA) member institutions. This scholarship is named for Janice Barden, who has been active in the aviation community for decades and has served as chair of the NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition Local Committee more than any other person in NBAA history.

What does it cover? The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) annually awards $1,000 to each of five undergraduates.

How to Apply: A completed application package, which includes application form , one essay, one transcript, one resume and one letter of recommendation, must be received by NBAA no later than Nov. 1, 2013, to be considered for the scholarship.
