Our client is a leading global retail company representing some of the most popular, developing and diverse brands within fashion and retail. The organization covers wholesale and retail trading across international brands including clothing, shoes and perfume for men, women and children.
They are an expanding and developing company moving into new areas and into new locations across Europe and the Middle East. In 2011 they are launching the USA company and we are currently looking for an experienced CEO/ Country Director to head up the entire USA business. The location is flexible and there will be a lot of travel involved as the brands are launched across different locations.
The right person for this role will have previous experience in start ups, launches, growing companies and should be a dynamic and pro active leader. A fantastic opportunity with the support and security that comes from this well respected group
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Full P&L and operational responsibility for the business and all brands throughout the USA
• Launching new European and Global brands into the US fashion retail market
• Manage supporting functions within USA including:
o HR & Admin
o Area and Brand Managers
o Operations Team
o IT
o Logistics
o Etc
• Full training in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East for the first month or so to familiarize yourself with the brands and the group
Skills
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
• At least 5 years experience in a similar senior management role
• 10 years + impressive background in retail
• Success at driving a business forwards quickly and effectively
• Fashion retail experience preferable
• Business start up experience preferable
• Drive, flexibility, willing to travel and ambition are essential
• Open to USA citizens or applicants with strong USA experience of 5 years +
