The ABA Rule of Law Initiative seeks a Senior Program Manager to work in the DC headquarters office. The incumbent is responsible for a range of operational and financial oversight tasks, including regional grants management, Division-specific SOP formulation and implementation, compliance with relevant organizational and donor policies and regulations,
regional recruitment, security, administrative and logistical support for programs, and updating of outreach materials. The SPM-Operations oversees the work of the DC-based administrative staff and participates in the MENA division senior management team.
The ideal candidate will have significant relevant post-graduate educational qualifications and at least seven years progressively responsible work experience in administrative or program management, supervisory management experience, grants management, monitoring and evaluation , and have held a management position in the field for 2-3 years, preferably in the MENA region. Demonstrated knowledge of the A-110 and A-122 required, and experience with other donor regulations a plus.
The position requires native level written and oral skills in English, as well as outstanding diplomatic, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills. French or Arabic skills a plus. The SPM-Operations may also have a small programmatic portfolio and/or manage special events or projects as requested, depending on prior experience.
