Finance Manager Wanted / UTEK1440

Position Description:
Due to exceptional growth, Unitek Global Services is seeking an experienced Finance Manager.
The Finance Manager will be responsible for planning and directing the finance/accounting activities within finance department or division of an organization by performing the following duties, personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
? Oversight/preparation of weekly management reporting
? Oversight of weekly operating rhythm reports and investor package
? Manage divisional clawbacks to achieve profitability
? Assists in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budget, accounting, and/or payroll
? Supervises and participates in the preparation of various financial statements and reports
? Directs the installation and maintenance of accounting records to show receipts and expenditures
? Directs the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, and operating expenses, and insurance records
? Directs and participates in cost analyses and rate studies
? Prepares statements and reports of estimated future costs and revenues
? Directs internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls
? Establishes system controls for new financial systems and develops procedures to improve existing systems
? Conduct weekly finance review with field management
? Directs the installation and maintenance of new accounting, timekeeping, payroll, inventory, property, and other related procedures and controls

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manages 5 employees in the Finance and Accounting Department. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


Qualifications

? Two to four years of experience in a similar position; experience with operations preferred
? Aggressively anticipate impacts of workload to deadlines
? Ability to work long hours during peak periods
? Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with look-ups and pivot tables
? Strong organizational and analytical skills

Education and/or Experience
Master's degree (M. A.) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
