-Entered the University without a merit scholarship from SU
- Completed two years of study at SU and achieved junior status during the first semester of the scholarship
- Earned an overall grade point average of 3.0
-Demonstrated scholarship in action in their time at SU
Scholarship Open for International Students: No
Scholarship Description: The Office of Scholarship Programs is responsible for the administration of Syracuse University undergraduate scholarships including university programs, academic and administrative cooperative programs, opportunity and incentive programs, and outside scholarship programs. Our office provides a variety of services for enrolled undergraduate students designed to facilitate their search for scholarship opportunities,. We work cooperatively and in an atmosphere of openness and trust with all of our constituents, to support the mission, vision and core values of Syracuse University. The Scholarship in Action Merit Scholarships are awarded to 11 upper-class students selected to receive a $6,000 scholarship. Juniors will be awarded two years, and seniors for one year. Three of the recipients will be from The College of Arts and Sciences. The remaining eight undergraduate schools and colleges will receive one scholarship each
