Eligibility:
All undergraduate and graduate students who are majors in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication, including students graduating in December 2012 are eligible and encouraged to apply.
Scholarship Open for International Students: No
Scholarship Description: Selection is based primarily on academic achievement, media experience and extracurricular journalism or other mass communication activity. Consideration is given to financial need where criteria for specific awards permit. Decisions on awards will be made by the School’s Scholarship Committee and approved by the SJMC faculty in the spring. Students selected to receive a scholarship will be notified by mail and invited to attend the Fourth Estate Awards Ceremony in April 2012, where they will learn the specific scholarship they have been awarded.
