Job Description
We are looking for a Software Developer II/III who will be designing and
developing software for our IT Foundation team. This position will be working
on our internal CORE systems. The bulk of the workload will be focused on
medium to large scale projects, concentrating on new features and software
improvements. There will also be some time spent on smaller enhancements and
bug fixes to our existing systems.
Responsibilities:
- Performs complex software design activities which may require extensive
research and analysis
- Performs implementation and maintenance of complex software systems
- Performs complex bug verification, release testing
- Researches problems discovered by QA or product support and develop
solutions to the problems
- Conducts unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits
- Works with other business units and business analysts to help gather
requirements
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- 3+ years experience designing and writing software
- Extensive development experience in Python. Bonus if you have worked in
other languages like C or Java.
- Linux operating system/application development desirable
- Experience working on existing software systems to provide bug fixes and
enhancements.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
