Straumann Inside Sales Representative Job Vacancy in USA



Position Summary:
This sales role generates incremental sales; and supports field sales initiatives via sales lead qualification, relationship building, and necessary account maintenance.  The Inside Sales Representative generates sales and qualifies leads based upon pre-set criteria and a defined selling process.  The Inside Sales Representative enters his / her sales activities and information gained via outbound call activity into our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program, and actively communicates and follows-up with the assigned field Territory Manager (TM).  Meeting daily call standards and sales goals are key performance indicators for success.

Major Responsibilities of the Position:
  • Generate Sales - Increase sales by reactivating non-purchasing or low-purchasing accounts.
  • Sales Lead Qualification - Increase sales by telemarketing prospects and key accounts from Sales, Marketing, and before and after Trade Shows. 
  • Build Relationships - Work directly with prospects and existing customers to identify clinical needs, business opportunities for Straumann, and generate sales. Close qualified prospects for a site visit by TM. Confirm all appointments with follow up and reminder calls to prospect 24 hours prior to visit.
  • Account Maintenance - Learn key prospect information such as competitors used, referral base, and other sales intelligence.  Ensure we have updated contact information and that accounts have updated catalogs and materials.  All data to be entered into CRM.
  • Communication – Frequently informs and updates the assigned field TM of call activities, results, and necessary field action required.

Other Duties:                                                                                     
  • Ensure proper tracking and reporting of all activities such as outbound calls made, accounts qualified, and articles sold.
  • Capture all marketing attributes, sales activities, and account intelligence in CRM.
  • Partner with the assigned field TM to share identified needs and strategize on approach.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree and / or equivalent job experience.
  • Minimum 3 years outbound inside sales with demonstrated success, preferably in either the medical device or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Must have good basic computer skills and familiarity with order entry and CRM systems

Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Must be a professional capable of clearly communicating essential information including products, programs, and promotions.
  • Ability to build relationships and win the confidence of both the customer and field TMs.
  • Ability to work with information systems (CRM) and basic Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. 

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Office environment.
