IT Manager Job Vacancy in Georgia, USA



Job location: factory in Georgia, USA

1. Establish the information systems at the new factory and set up the needed policies and procedures.
2. Manage backup, security and user help systems.
3. Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.
4. Direct system daily operations of department, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities for all technical jobs.
5. Assign and review the work of systems analysts, programmers, and other computer-related workers.
6. Stay abreast of advances in technology.
7. Develop computer information resources to be subject matter experts in the company system.
8. Set and review all systems charts and programs prior to their implementation.
9. Evaluate the factory's technology use and needs and recommend improvements, such as hardware and software upgrades.
10. Control operational budget and expenditures related to IT department.
11. Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve any IT problems.
12. Develop and interpret department goals in business plan, request policies amendment if needed.
13. Review project plans in order to plan and coordinate project activity.
14. Evaluate data processing proposals to assess project feasibility and requirements.
15. Prepare and review operational reports or project progress reports.
16. Review IT department monthly cost sheet and correct any variance between actual and budgeted amounts.
17. Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
18. Identify measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.
19. Plan and test disaster recovery plan for the company system transactions.
20. Set and review authorization matrix for all system jobs profile.
21. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer.

Skills

This position is restricted for Saudis, and practical experience in big industrial firms is a strong advantage.

Education
