The Opportunity: As a Sales Trainer you are tasked with training and developing our World Class Rackspace sales team! You will touch everyone from new hires to our seasoned vets providing them with the tools and
training to be successful. This includes creating, selecting, scheduling and teaching classes on technical topics related to the hosting industry, product specifications, value propositions, sales techniques, policies, procedures, and tools related to Sales and Rackspace.
Job Requirements
Must haves:
• 3 Years experience in technical sales
• Self motivated and enthusiastic
• Excellent presentation/communication skills (confident and polished presentation delivery)
• Intimate familiarity with the sales cycle/process.
• Partners effectively with different parts of the business and external vendors.
• Able to effectively influence sales manager and leaders
• Owns/drives projects and uses all available recourses to deliver results (need to be self driven and not require constant supervision)
Nice to have:
• Solid understanding of training methods, utilizing different approaches and technologies.
• Understands how to use a blended learning approach (able to use various methods and technologies to train).
• Able to create and implement effective assessments.
• Promotes out of classroom activities to enhance learning.
• Program management and coordination capability
